The Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Holiday Gathering Dec. 5, 2020, at the Elks Club, raising $1,500 for three local non-profit organizations: Homes for Our Troops, The Woman at the Well, and TASC (Taunton Area School to Career). Santa showed up, spreading holiday cheer, while partygoers mingled and jingled. Entertainment One Stop Shop energized the crowd with music and dancing. Thank you to RPC Packaging for providing a sweet, eye-catching candy spread; and to Liberty & Union Alehouse, Dough Licious Pizza, Homeplate/Bay Street Grille, Trucchi's Supermarkets, Berkley Beer Co., and PlanIt Eats, for providing the delicious appetizer buffet!
The Taunton Area Chamber of Commerce presented Girls Inc., with a $600 donation toward summer camp scholarships recently. Funds were raised during the Chamber’s Luau, held July 18. Before the pig roast, Girls Inc. performed a hula dance.
